GROUND ROBOTICS RESEARCH CENTER (GRRC)

Introduction

Established with a few initial projects in 2007, the Ground Robotics Research Center (GRRC) conducts research in autonomous ground vehicles and robots.  An expansion of the GRRC scope, and a formal center kickoff is expected in the spring of 2008, and will be announced at this web site when finalized. 

The GRRC is sponsored by the US Army's Tank-Automotive Research Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC).  The University of Michigan leads the GRRC, which also includes partners from other academic institutions as well as industry. 

The GRRC is located at 1100 H.H. Dow Building, on the North Campus of the University of Michigan.  Any inquiries should be directed to the GRRC Director, Professor A. Galip Ulsoy (ulsoy@umich.edu) or to the GRRC Administrative Manager, Ms. Julie DeFilippo (jdfilipo@umich.edu ).
