Ground Robotics Reliability Center
Established with a few initial projects in 2007, the University of Michigan's Ground Robotics Reliability Center (GRRC) was formerly launched with a kickoff event on August 11, 2008. The 2010 GRRC Spring Meeting was held on May 18th on the north campus of the University of Michigan.
The GRRC conducts research in autonomous ground vehicles and mobile robots. Our vision is to help establish Southeastern Michigan as a center of activity for these emerging new technologies through supporting programs in research and education.
The GRRC research projects are primarily sponsored by the US Army's Tank-Automotive Research Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC). The University of Michigan leads the GRRC, which also includes partners from other academic institutions as well as industry.
The GRRC is located at 1100 H.H. Dow Building, on the North Campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. To learn more about the GRRC - download this PDF file.
