Ground Robotics Reliability Center
Established with a few initial projects in 2007, the University of Michigan's Ground Robotics Reliability Center (GRRC) was launched with a kickoff event
on Monday August 11, 2008. Please see the press stories in the News and Events section of this website.
The GRRC conducts research in autonomous ground vehicles and mobile robots. Our vision is to help establish Southeastern Michigan as a center of activity for these emerging new technologies through supporting programs in research and education.
The GRRC research projects are primarily sponsored by the US Army's Tank-Automotive Research Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC). The University of Michigan leads the GRRC, which also includes partners from other academic institutions as well as industry.
